Congratulations to our 12 PMEA District Band students on their concert last night at Charlerio HS under the direction of composer Sam Hazo. 8 of these students were eligible for Region Band based on their audition. Great job everyone!

Since North Hills is on a delay schedule for Wednesday, January 29th, we will now meet in the HS at 9:30 AM to depart for Shaler. Please remember your medical forms if you did not turn them in yet.
Congratulations to our saxophone quartet for a wonderful representation of our program at the school board meeting tonight. The group also performed a concert for the residents of Kane Hospital last weekend. Thanks!

We are so excited that the North Hills High School Wind Ensemble is invited to perform at the 2014 PMEA All-State Conference.
Thank your for the support our community, teachers, administration and parents give the NH music program to allow our students to strive for excellence each day. It makes a difference! Our kids continue to do great things together, and we are looking forward to sharing our hard work with our friends from across the state. Congrats to everyone involved with our program!!! We look forward to having you with us! The festival is at Martorelli Stadium, which is not at our high school. Enter 5400 Perry Highway to find us on a map. Parking is available along route 19 and in the two Park and Ride lots at the bottom of the hill. A free shuttle is available from the parking lots to our stadium and back. Have dinner with us at the "North Hills Band and Grill" featuring homemade specialties and festival favorites. Stop by the Bake Sale table for dessert or take-home treats. Show your kids how much you love them (or embarrass them) with: -Video Grams -Audio Grams -Candy Grams -Flower Grams Forms are available inside the stadium. Show your band pride with spirit items, and don't forget the commemorative program with ad and coupons from northern area businesses. See you at the festival! |
