We are very excited to share these great young people with musicians and teachers from across the state in two weeks at the PMEA Convention.
For our alumni and music lovers, we will perform: Grainger, Lincolnshire Posy Mackey, Sheltering Sky Williams, Victor's Tale SSG Aaron Scott soloist from The U.S. Army Band, “Pershing’s Own” North Hills High School class of '99 Holsinger, Liturgical Dances Sousa, The Thunderer Since most of you won't be in Hershey, feel free to join us for a PMEA Preview Concert on March 29th, in the North Hills Middle School Auditorium at 7 PM. Thank you North Hills! North Hills High School’s music department has been named a Program of Distinction by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools, one of the nation’s top education accrediting organizations. The North Hills music department is one of only six music programs in the nation to be honored with this notable accolade. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our retired elementary band director, Mr. Bishop. Mr. Bishop was a fabulous educator and a friend to us all. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Burial in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
