Thank you North Hills! North Hills High School’s music department has been named a Program of Distinction by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools, one of the nation’s top education accrediting organizations. The North Hills music department is one of only six music programs in the nation to be honored with this notable accolade. Programs of Distinction are viewed as model programs worthy of emulation by academic programs around the world.
Click here to read more!!! It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our retired elementary band director, Mr. Bishop. Mr. Bishop was a fabulous educator and a friend to us all. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Burial in St. Ignatius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Double Hit Lymphoma Foundation.
